It’s been a busy summer at LA Aluminum! Our mold storage building received an expansion and now incorporates mold prep as well. A gantry crane will be installed for ease of use and a new tool identification system implemented. Additionally, the building will now be heated, reducing overall mold prep time by at least 15%. Relocating mold prep to the new location creates more space and better workflow in our foundry. The new addition solved our space and storage needs as well as increased overall operational efficiency.
